Co-Founder, Global Learning Solutions

Storm McGrath

Storm has spent decades turning educational ideas into practical systems that teachers, operators and families can rely on.

For Storm, scale is not the goal on its own. The goal is dependable education, supported by systems that work for the people using them.

The beliefs behind the work

Five lessons that shape how Storm builds GLS.

01

Quality before expansion

Growth only works when the learning experience remains dependable in every location.

02

Technology supports educators

Useful systems remove administrative friction and give educators more time for people and progress.

03

Operators need practical systems

Training, workflows and quality controls must work on an ordinary Tuesday, not only in a strategy document.

04

Local ownership, central support

Strong networks give local operators room to lead, backed by clear standards and responsive support.

05

Change should be disciplined

New ideas earn trust through testing, evidence and careful implementation rather than hype.

How experience shapes GLS

From judgement to practical support.

Storm’s experience informs the structures GLS is building. It does not replace the work of testing each program, platform and partnership on its own merits.

Franchise architecture

Clear territories, partner selection, onboarding and support designed as one connected system.

Training

Knowledge translated into practical training that people can apply consistently.

Quality controls

Standards, observation and feedback built into delivery rather than inspected at the end.

Technology direction

Tools chosen to reduce administration, support educators and make progress visible.

Operator support

Decisions grounded in the day-to-day realities of staffing, families, timetables and growth.

“I want every single child to know more today than they did yesterday.”
